In the '90s, I relocated to Chicago, where I formed the band "Five Mile Ceiling" with David Lemkuil, Iris Credo, Royce Lee and Eric Mahle. This band quickly gained critical acclaim and became a staple in the city's music scene. Our sound was a mix of shoegaze guitar textures and jangled rock, which resonated with audiences and critics alike. For two consecutive years, we found ourselves in the Chicago Tribune's list of top ten bands supporting a myriad of local and touring bands. I worked in film production and produced videos for Pavement, Common, the Orb, Meat Beat Manifesto, Wesley Willis, Manic Street Preachers and Ministry. I was even the guitar player in a video with Matt Sorum. The 90's music scene in Chicago was bubbling and vibrant and it was a great to be in the thick of it.
